About the owner

Since 2021, Skyler Goode has carved out a reputable niche in the insurance sector. Initially, he tackled catastrophe claims as an adjuster, ensuring policyholders across over 23 states received fair settlements. His career progression led him to acquire a producer license in both Florida and Georgia. Renowned for his expertise, Skyler is dedicated to providing unwavering support to his clientele.

How it all began...

Cherokee Rose Insurance was born out of the heartfelt discussions and urgent needs highlighted by natural disasters nationwide. Recognizing a gap in policyholder education, Skyler identified the widespread issue of clients being unaware of the intricacies of their insurance policies. Many were caught off-guard by unexpected deductibles and exclusions, stemming from a lack of comprehensive guidance during the policy selection process. Motivated by this, Skyler envisioned a brokerage that champions the interests of the policyholder, not just those of the insurance providers.

The moniker ‘Cherokee Rose’ is a nod to Skyler’s deep appreciation for his home state’s history. Raised in Georgia, a state where the past is a pivotal part of education, Skyler was particularly influenced by the story of the state flower, the Cherokee Rose. The significance of this symbol resonated with him, inspiring the decision to imprint his ventures with this meaningful name.
